MidCoast Council 4WD Beach Permits / Beach Access Pass
Need a MidCoast Council beach permit for your 4WD? Our store is where you can pick up your permit which will allow you to drive on Bennett’s Beach. 4WD beach access on Bennett’s Beach starts north of the Hawks Nest Surf Life Saving clubhouse up to the border with Myall Lakes National Park which is marked as the 4WD beach access known as Lemon Tree. We sell monthly and annual permits for MidCoast Council beach 4WD access. Jimmy’s Beach is a restricted-access beach; permits are only available from council offices.NSW National Parks 4WD Beach Permits / Beach Access Pass
NSW National Parks day permits are available from us. A single park day pass will allow you to access the Myall Lakes National Park for only $8.00*. This day pass allows you 24 hour access from time of purchase.

Camping and need fuel for a fire? Bags of firewood are available in store. They are a mix of hard and kindling wood (approx. 85% / 15%).$20.00 for a 15kg bag. Need Ice? We have a constant stock of top quality Great Lakes Ice products for keeping things cool.
Myall Lakes NP
Camping is popular in our area. There are many campsites located in the the Myall National Park. Rules need to be observed when camping in the Myall Lakes NP. Details can be obtained from us including maps and park permits. Getting 'back to nature' is why people come to this area. The superb lake system & calm water allow fishing, kayaking, swimming, water skiing & house boats.
A short walk from the lakes takes you to the Ocean offering surfing and beach fishing. Dive sites are found at Broughton Island & Seal Rocks.
Myall Lakes NP has various grades of walking tracks. Come into our store to find information & Maps for:
• The Mungo Brush Rainforest 2km loop track.• The Tamboi Walk, a 4km one way easy walking track.• The Old Gibber Track, a 11km one way to Shelly Beach • The Mungo Track a 21km one way track past the lake edge, river and beaches to Hawks Nest.• The popular Yaccaba Headland, a 1.5km one way walk with rewarding views from the top.* * Always carry sufficient water and let someone know where you are going.Port Stephens Marine Park
Port Stephens–Great Lakes Marine Park extends from Cape Hawke near Forster south to Birubi Beach at the northern end of Stockton Beach.
The Marine Park is approximately 980 square km and includes:• Offshore waters to the three nautical mile limit of NSW waters;• All of Port Stephens, the Karuah River, the Myall River, Myall and Smiths Lakes, and their creeks and tributaries to the tidal limit. The marine park Zoning Map and User Guide provide information about the current zoning and management rules in the park.
